The Gospel of Mark — June 22 - July 4
Genesis — July 5 - August 2
Exodus — August
Rooted Circles are simple, relational small groups where you practice walking with Jesus in everyday life. One hour together each week, plus about ten minutes a day in the Bible — with some weeks focusing on key themes to go deeper — taking you through the entire Bible over three years, or in one year with an accelerated path. Reconnect with God, your story, and real people—while building rhythms that actually last.
You don't have to do this alone. This is a place to be known, grow deep roots, and walk with God alongside others.
We also know that people come to community carrying more than they show. Weakness, doubt, shame, the quiet fear of being truly seen — these are not disqualifications from the Rooted Circle. They are the very things that make community necessary. And how we respond to weakness — our own and each other's — is often what determines whether real community forms or stays on the surface. Rooted Circles creates space for that tenderness — toward yourself and toward the people sitting beside you.
These circles are not about fixing people or having the right answers. They are about learning to be present — with God and with one another. People need people. We grow through connection, not isolation. As you are heard and known, something begins to shift — mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Even in the middle of struggle, this becomes a steady place to land — a kind of home base where your life with God and your life with others come back together.

Circles meet in homes, at church, online, or wherever a small group can gather. We honor the one-hour gathering time — it starts and ends there, with space to linger if you want.
Rooted Circles are intentionally small — usually three to five people or a few couples — so there is space for real conversation and trust to grow. Circles may be men's, women's, couples, or other groupings depending on who is participating, and each circle is gently guided by a coach who helps hold the space and keep the rhythm. Some groups form around shared seasons of life, such as couples with young kids or a few families walking through the journey together.
There's no pressure to have it all together. You don't need to start at the beginning. On-ramps open about every four to six weeks, so you can step in when a circle is available. The best next step is simply to see what circles are currently open. When a few people are ready, new circles can begin — sometimes as simple as a small group of friends choosing to walk through the journey together.
After experiencing a Rooted Circle, some may feel ready to start one of their own. With a handful of people it's easy to begin — and simple guidance is there to help you along the way.

1. Share a Story from Your Week — This is where you are known. It could be good news, a hard moment, something you are carrying — whatever is going on in your life right now.
2. Communion — Pause to remember Jesus together through communion, receiving the bread and cup as a shared reminder of His presence, grace, and love.
* Online: Participants are encouraged to gather something simple from home ahead of time for communion, such as bread, a cracker, juice, or something similar.
3. Discuss the Bible — Reflect together on what stood out from the Bible reading. This is less of a lecture, and more of a conversation about what God is highlighting as we read.
4. Pray & Listen for the Holy Spirit – Make space to pray with and for one another in a simple, Spirit-led way. Share needs, listen for the Holy Spirit, and ask God to bring comfort, strength, wisdom, healing, and encouragement. Here, we practice God's presence together.
5. Tell Someone What God Did – Carry something from the circle into your week by sharing with someone outside the circle what God did, showed you, healed, encouraged, or reminded you of.

Do I need to be caught up before I join?
No. Rooted Circles are designed with clear start points, so you can begin with the current reading. You do not need to go back and catch up.
When can I join?
Rooted Circles open several times throughout the year. Once a circle begins, we keep the group closed for a season so people can build trust, connection, and consistency together. New openings happen about every 1–2 months.
Do I have to start at the beginning?
No. The Rooted Bible Reading Plan is cyclical, with several start points throughout the year. You can begin at the current start point without going backward or trying to catch up.
What if I miss the reading?
Just keep going. The goal is not perfection; it is a steady rhythm of Scripture, presence, and growth. If you miss a day, simply rejoin the plan with the next reading.
How long is each Rooted Circle Group?
60 minutes. We hold to a strong line at 60 minutes. To honor people's time, circles stop officially at the 60 minute mark, but people will often hang out a little longer.
Can I join online?
Yes. Some Rooted Circles meet in person, and some meet online. For online circles, you are encouraged to bring something simple for communion, such as bread, a cracker, juice, or something similar.
What happens when we gather?
Each week, we bring a story from life, remember Jesus through communion, discuss what stood out from the reading, pray and listen to the Holy Spirit for one another, and practice sharing what God is doing with someone during the week.
Do I need to be experienced with prayer, Bible study, or small groups?
No. Rooted Circles are guided and simple. You can participate at a comfortable pace, whether this kind of group is familiar or new to you.
Can I start my own Rooted Circle?
That is part of the long-term vision. Rooted Circles are meant to multiply in healthy, Spirit-led ways over time. Because the heart and culture of the circle matter, potential leaders first participate in a Rooted Circle, complete leader training, and then apply or are invited to begin leading when the time is right.
